Genera-Z Berbakti 2026 Names Best Teams After Community Service

The Genera-Z Berbakti 2026 program, a community service initiative by Bakti BCA, has wrapped up its journey, with participating student teams returning from their month-long deployments in various tourist villages.

These students, who dedicated themselves to serving local communities, shared that their time in the villages left a profound impression. Upon their return, they were tasked with submitting final reports detailing their activities and outcomes. A panel of judges from BCA evaluated these reports, considering presentation quality, program implementation, impact, and sustainability.

After thorough presentations and in-depth Q&A sessions, the top teams were announced. Tim Amerta Pertiwi from Universitas Airlangga (UNAIR) secured the "Best Team" title. They were followed by Tim Pelita from Universitas Padjajaran (UNPAD) as Runner-Up I, Tim KATALIS from Universitas Indonesia (UI) as Runner-Up II, and Tim Laskar Selasik from Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) as Runner-Up III.

Antonius Widodo Mulyono, Director of BCA, congratulated the winners, commending their consistency and commitment. He highlighted BCA's appreciation for the students' dedication and affirmed the bank's commitment to supporting young Indonesians in their endeavors to create impact and grow into strong, principled future leaders. "BCA highly appreciates the winners' dedication for more than a month in various Bakti BCA-assisted tourist villages. The four teams have proven their ability to directly engage and bring impact to the communities in their respective locations," Mulyono stated.

Members of the winning team, Amerta Pertiwi from UNAIR, expressed surprise at their "Best Team" designation. They had not set high expectations for the Genera-Z Berbakti 2026 competition, viewing the final assessment as a moment for reflection and accountability. Regina, a member of Amerta Pertiwi, shared, "We consider the final assessment session like a sharing session, with us as the information providers from the field. If given the opportunity, we are also very open to discussing further the potential of Patakbanteng Village, as this village has immense and self-reliant potential."
