German intelligence services have issued a stark warning regarding a heightened threat of Iranian assassination plots targeting individuals and institutions across Europe. This alert follows the uncovering of Iranian spy networks last year, which were reportedly preparing attacks against Jewish organizations during a twelve-day conflict.

The Amadeu Antonio Foundation, a prominent civil society organization, has characterized the danger posed by Iranian agents as "real, acute, and life-threatening," indicating that these agents have been engaged in espionage against European targets for years. The German Police Union (GdP) has also raised concerns, urging political action to address the unchecked return of jihadists to Germany and to suspend admission programs that may allow individuals with unclear identities to enter the country.

A Danish citizen, acting as a spy for Iran, was reportedly mapping out Jewish targets in Berlin under the direction of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps.
