GFA to Hold Coaches’ Workshop Ahead of 2026/27 Ghana Premier League Season

The Ghana Football Association is bringing Premier League coaches together for a one-day virtual workshop before the 2026/27 campaign begins.

Organised by the FA’s Technical Directorate, the session will focus on strengthening technical standards, improving professionalism and ensuring that clubs share a common understanding of key issues before the new season. Technical Director Dr Joseph Kwame Mintah and members of the directorate will lead the workshop.

Coaches will discuss their roles and responsibilities, along with technical and administrative matters linked to the running of the competition. The FA said the conduct of team officials would receive particular attention, with coaches expected to reinforce discipline, professionalism and compliance with football regulations.

The workshop will also allow the Technical Directorate to communicate its guidance and expectations to coaches as clubs complete their preparations for another demanding Premier League campaign. The 2026/27 season will officially open on Saturday, when Vision FC host Young Apostles at the Nii Adjei Kraku II Sports Complex in Tema New Town.
