Ghanaian Football Clubs Must Obtain SSNIT Clearance Certificates Before New Season

Clubs across Ghana's top football leagues are being instructed to secure clearance certificates from the Social Security and National Insurance Trust (SSNIT). This requirement applies to teams competing in the Ghana Premier League (GPL), the Division One League (DOL), and the Women's Premier League (WPL).

An Executive Committee member of the Ghana League Clubs Association (GHALCA), Mr. Nkoo, emphasized the importance of meeting the established deadline for these applications. The certificates are a mandatory requirement for participation in the upcoming football season, ensuring compliance with national regulations regarding social security contributions.

Football clubs are urged to act promptly and submit their applications to SSNIT to avoid any potential issues or disqualifications as the new season approaches. Adherence to this directive is crucial for the smooth commencement of league activities.
