Giant 700-liter mazamorra to be prepared at Jockey Plaza for free Fiestas Patrias tasting

The Jockey Plaza shopping mall in Peru is celebrating Fiestas Patrias with a massive culinary event: the preparation of a 700-liter giant mazamorra. This traditional Peruvian dessert will be made by renowned chef Sandra Plevisani on July 28, starting at 5:00 p.m. in the plaza in front of the H&M store.

Attendees will have the opportunity to witness the live preparation and receive one of 2,900 free samples of the dessert. This gastronomic activity is a highlight of the mall's special programming for the national month, which aims to showcase Peruvian culture, music, and traditions from various regions.

The Fiestas Patrias celebrations at Jockey Plaza began earlier with a performance by the Kimbafá group and will continue with a parade featuring traditional dances from Peru's coast, highlands, and jungle on July 29, presented by the 'Así es mi Perú' ensemble. The mall aims to spotlight representative cultural and gastronomic expressions of Peru through these family-friendly events.
