102 students from a single Peruvian school admitted to National University of Callao

A remarkable academic achievement has been recorded in Peru, with 102 students from the Juan Pablo Peregrino school in Carabayllo gaining admission to the National University of Callao (UNAC). This success represents a significant milestone for the Lima Norte educational institution, as these students constitute approximately 10% of the 1,058 vacancies offered in the university's ordinary admission process.

Adding to the impressive feat, 15 of the admitted students secured top positions across a range of demanding fields. These include Economics, Industrial Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Food Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Administration, Accounting, and Fisheries Engineering. Notably, 16-year-olds Luana Flores Espinoza and Angello Corasma Nolasco claimed the first places in Economics and Industrial Engineering, respectively.

The school's director, Yamiry Julca Sánchez, attributed this mass admission to the collaborative efforts of teachers, students, and parents, alongside the institution's focus on emotional support. She highlighted the dedication of teachers in motivating students and the presence of psychologists at each educational level to foster emotional development. The school also provides free afternoon tutoring and academic reinforcement to ensure students successfully complete their school year.
