Gibran Visits North Sumatra, Welcomed by Bobby and Inspects Permanent Housing in Tapanuli

Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka traveled to North Sumatra on Friday for a working visit focused on permanent housing and infrastructure in Tapanuli.

North Sumatra Governor Bobby Nasution, who is also Gibran’s brother-in-law, and Tapanuli Tengah Regent Masinton Pasaribu welcomed him at Tapanuli Tengah Airport. Gibran and Bobby then went to several inspection sites.

In Tapanuli Tengah, Gibran visited SMAN 1 Barus and reviewed education and infrastructure facilities. The itinerary also included permanent housing in Aek Parombunan, Sibolga, and the Sabo Dam in Hutanabolon, Tukka district.

Gibran and Bobby later inspected permanent housing in Napa and Hapesong Baru villages in Batang Toru, South Tapanuli. They also visited the Garoga Bridge in Batang Toru and permanent housing at the Pinangsori Hajj Dormitory in Tapanuli Tengah.
