Goda experienced the exclusive 'Zamna' party - traveling even to Malta for it

The electronic music phenomenon known as 'Zamna,' originating from Tulum, Mexico, has evolved into a global brand, drawing house and techno enthusiasts from across the world. Zamna events are renowned for their spectacular stages, intricate light and video installations, and exotic settings, often featuring top electronic music artists.

Beyond its large-scale festival productions, Zamna also curates a different kind of experience: intimate "beach" parties. These events eschew the monumental stage designs of their larger counterparts, instead emphasizing a summery, daytime atmosphere. Music, sunshine, sand, and the sea become the primary elements, creating a more laid-back vibe.

Goda, a visitor from Lithuania, recently experienced one of these "Zamna on the Beach" events in Malta. She chose Malta intentionally, having visited before and enjoying the island. This trip, however, also served the purpose of attending the Zamna party, allowing her to combine sightseeing and relaxation with evening entertainment.

She found the Maltese event to be a different facet of Zamna compared to the Tulum festivals, characterized by daytime dancing and a lighter, more summery feel.

The event took place on a beach where temperatures reached 35 degrees Celsius, allowing attendees to cool off in the sea between sets. Goda noted the relaxed atmosphere and increased social interaction typical of beach gatherings. "Music can be great, but if there are no interesting people and energy around you that draws you in, the evening might not pick up. In Malta, all these details came together. I wouldn't even have much to compare it to – I may not have even experienced such a party atmosphere in Lithuania," she shared upon her return.
