Godoy calls for reinforced coordination in Veracruz; 'Together we can achieve results,' she affirms

Ernestina Godoy Ramos, head of Mexico's Attorney General's Office (FGR), has called for enhanced coordination among state and municipal authorities in Veracruz, along with representatives from the National Defense, Navy, and National Guard. Godoy stressed that by joining forces and coordinating actions, they can effectively confront the region's security challenges.

"Never before have we had the opportunity to work together and obtain results. Together we can do it," Godoy stated during a meeting with governmental, military, and police officials. She asserted that sharing information and closing ranks would lead to strong investigations, resulting in exemplary sanctions for offenders. Godoy also mentioned that her visits to various federal prosecutor's offices aim to gather suggestions for improving work and to strengthen communication and synergistic efforts.

During her visit to the Federal Prosecutor's Office, Godoy highlighted the importance of trust in exchanging information, noting that common objectives established in each meeting consolidate a true state force. She reiterated the FGR's full coordination with other authorities, emphasizing that no single institution can tackle crime alone. Godoy urged all three levels of government to combine efforts, share information, and coordinate actions, stating that by addressing root causes, using intelligence, and maintaining coordination, they gain significant strength to act against delinquency.
