The footage, initially captured by company security cameras, shows the dog sitting attentively beside his owner as they watch a crucial penalty shootout.

As the decisive penalty is scored, securing Paraguay's spot in the tournament, the owner erupts in joy, embracing Tommy. The dog, far from being startled by the commotion, responds by standing on his hind legs and returning the hug, displaying his own fervent support for the national team, the Albirroja.

Diana Ortellado, Tommy's owner, shared that the dog was adopted by her family in 2020 during the pandemic. Tommy had a habit of escaping his previous owner's home and eventually found a permanent place with the Ortellados, quickly becoming the pampered "boss" of their family business. "He's the boss of the office. He's the master and lord of the office," Ortellado said.

Ortellado also highlighted the special bond between Tommy and Raúl, one of the company's security guards. Raúl was the first to share the viral video, and Tommy has shown an exceptional connection with him since day one. The family celebrates Tommy's birthday annually, marking the date of his official adoption.
