Golf: Port Harcourt to host Nigerian National Finals

Python Golf Club in Port Harcourt has been selected as the host venue for the Nigerian National Finals of the International Pairs Golf Championship. This prestigious tournament is a crucial step for amateur golfers aiming to qualify for the World Final.

The championship is scheduled to take place from July 31 to August 2. Winning pairs will earn the exclusive opportunity to represent Nigeria at the global finals, which will be held in Tenerife, Canary Islands, Spain, from October 5 to 9, 2026. Falcon Golf Development Company (FGDC), the official franchise holder in Nigeria, is organizing the event.

FGDC Chief Executive Officer, Remi Olukoya, assured participants of a high-quality golfing experience, confirming that all necessary arrangements for a smooth tournament are in place. The International Pairs, founded in England in 1998, is recognized globally as the largest amateur pairs golf tournament.
