Gorontalo Election Agency Ensures Financial Management Meets New Rules

The Gorontalo Provincial Election Supervisory Agency (Bawaslu) has affirmed that its financial management and reporting processes adhere strictly to the latest regulations. Arya Mega Natalady Sumbayak, the acting head of the Bawaslu Gorontalo Secretariat, stated this in Gorontalo on Saturday.

Sumbayak explained that the agency has been diligently participating in socialization sessions for the Ministry of Finance Regulation (PMK) No. 41 of 2026, conducted by the national Bawaslu via Zoom. This proactive step ensures that their financial management aligns with current regulatory standards. The socialization is deemed crucial for implementing PMK No. 41 of 2026, which amends PMK No. 62 of 2023, covering budget planning, execution, accounting, and financial reporting.

This updated regulation serves as the primary guideline for work units to manage finances in an orderly, accountable, and compliant manner. Bawaslu Gorontalo's participation in the socialization is part of a broader effort to enhance understanding of changes in state budget and finance management regulations. It also aims to standardize comprehension across all Bawaslu work units regarding the newest provisions, which must be applied from the planning to the reporting stages.
