Greece: e-EFKA opens 2026 summer camp applications with June 1 deadline

The e-EFKA platform has opened for applications for its 2026 summer camp program, offering a digital voucher system for eligible children. The program targets children aged 6 to 16 from specific insured and pensioner groups, as well as children of e-EFKA employees.

Participation is facilitated through an electronic voucher, which grants access to partner camps. Once approved, beneficiaries receive the voucher, allowing them to select a camp, choose a preferred period, and secure a spot based on availability. The standard camp period runs from June 15 to September 10, 2026, with an extended period until September 20 for children with disabilities. Specific camp dates may vary.

Eligibility extends to active insured individuals and pensioners from various former funds, provided they have insurance coverage and are not receiving similar benefits elsewhere in 2026. Children of deceased insured individuals aged 6-16 are also included. Additionally, children of e-EFKA employees and pensioners with disabilities exceeding 67% can be exceptionally included, alongside children of employees and pensioners aged 6-16.

Applications must be submitted online via www.efka.gov.gr using TAXISnet credentials by June 1, 2026, at 23:59. A total of 36,000 spots are available. In cases of high demand, applications will be automatically prioritized based on family situation, income, and tax data. Children with disabilities of 67% or more may be admitted outside the prioritization if spots are available. Successful applicants will be notified via email to obtain their participation voucher.
