Greenland is not for sale, Denmark's PM tells Trump

Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen firmly rejected U.S. President Donald Trump's suggestion that the United States should take control of Greenland. "Greenland is, of course, not for sale," Frederiksen stated, asserting that Denmark and Greenland expect all allies to respect their sovereignty and the Greenlandic people's right to self-determination.

Frederiksen's remarks came after Trump revived his interest in acquiring Greenland, a sentiment he has expressed before. He suggested Denmark was not investing enough in Greenland's development, making it more beneficial for the United States to control the territory.
