Guabirá thrashes Real Oruro 4-1 in Bolivian league

Guabirá secured a decisive 4-1 victory over Real Oruro in Montero, marking a return to winning ways in the Bolivian Professional Division. The match, held at the Gilberto Parada stadium, saw the home team dominate, with goals from Carlos Añez, Luciano Ursino, Garzón, and Andrés Moreno.

Guabirá struck early, taking the lead in the second minute through a header by Carlos Añez. However, Real Oruro quickly equalized in the fifth minute when Juan Carlos Montenegro capitalized on a defensive error. Despite the setback, Guabirá regained control, and Luciano Ursino put them back in front in the 31st minute after a well-worked team play.

Before halftime, Guabirá extended their lead. Garzón scored in the 42nd minute after a rebound from a saved shot by the Real Oruro goalkeeper. In the second half, Andrés Moreno sealed the victory with a powerful long-range strike in the 63rd minute, making the final score 4-1.

This win propelled Guabirá up the league standings. They now have 14 points, matching Real Oruro's total, and sit in eighth place. The victory brings Guabirá closer to competing for international tournament qualification spots.
