Guo and Mladenovic Claim First Wimbledon Doubles Title

The Wimbledon women's doubles crown now belongs to China's Hanyu Guo and France's Kristina Mladenovic, who secured their maiden Grand Slam title as a team by defeating Brazil's Luisa Stefani and Canada's Gabriela Dabrowski in the final. The score was 6-3, 7-5.

Stefani and Dabrowski, the second seeds, were unable to force a deciding third set. The champions clinched their victory in one and a half hours, preventing a tie-break in the second set.

This marks another significant Grand Slam achievement for Mladenovic, who has now won ten major titles, seven of them in women's doubles. Her last women's doubles Grand Slam title was in 2022. Dabrowski, who was also seeking her first Wimbledon doubles title, has now lost in the finals in 2019, 2024, and this year.

Following their triumph in London, Guo and Mladenovic are set to ascend to the fourth position in the WTA doubles rankings. Since teaming up, they have compiled a record of 18 wins in 23 matches on the tour. Mladenovic, visibly emotional during the trophy ceremony, thanked Guo for her support during a challenging period of her career, particularly as she returned from an injury that sidelined her for much of the 2025 season.
