Haidari: Shocking beating in clinic leaves man with black eye after voice complaint

A man in Haidari, Greece, suffered a brutal assault after politely asking another clinic patron to speak more quietly on his phone. The incident escalated rapidly when the patron, angered by the request, attacked the victim with kicks and punches before fleeing.

The man was talking on two phones inside the clinic, and I made a remark. I told him, 'Please speak a little quieter or go outside to talk on the phone, because you are disturbing,' and within seconds, he beat me up.

The violence did not end there. According to the victim's account, the assailant waited on the stairs of the building and launched a second, more violent attack. The victim sustained serious injuries, including a bruised eye and a fractured nasal septum, requiring hospitalization and medical examinations.

"The blow was very strong to the forehead. I have a black eye and a fractured bone in the septum," the victim recounted. He described the initial confrontation, stating, "I asked him to please speak a little quieter or go outside to talk on the phone, because you are disturbing." The victim added that the attacker "charged at me and hit me." The victim, who is also a businessman in the area, has since identified the assailant through police information and has filed a lawsuit.
