Harasser Arrested After Physically Assaulting Woman in Fifth Settlement

An accountant has been arrested in the Fifth Settlement following accusations of verbal harassment and physical assault against a young woman. The suspect, during interrogation, admitted to the physical altercation, stating that it escalated from a verbal disagreement with the complainant.

The investigation was prompted by a video circulating online, where the victim's sister detailed the incident. She claimed the man physically assaulted her sister after she rejected his unwanted advances. Law enforcement successfully identified and located the victim, who reported sustaining multiple bruises.

According to the victim, while walking in the First Settlement Police Department's jurisdiction, an individual verbally harassed her. When she confronted him about his behavior, he resorted to physical assault. Security forces apprehended the perpetrator, identified as a local accountant residing in the First Settlement area.

Confronted with the allegations, the suspect denied the harassment charge. He maintained that a mutual verbal altercation occurred, during which both parties engaged in an assault.
