The Hajj pilgrimage is presented not just as an annual ritual for Muslims, but as a profound historical and spiritual reconstruction. According to author Fahmi Salim, director of the Al-Fahmu Institute, the rituals embody the journey of Prophet Ibrahim in discovering God and establishing a civilization of faith.

Salim, author of "Hajj from the Purification of the Prophet's Mission to the Revolution of Awakening," cites Egyptian writer Abbas Mahmud al-Aqqad. Al-Aqqad, in his book "Ibrahim Abu-l Anbiya'," described Ibrahim's discoveries as the greatest human invention, surpassing even the wheel, fire, electricity, or atomic secrets in their significance for humanity's future.

"The discovery associated with Prophet Ibrahim is the greatest human discovery and cannot be overlooked by scientists or historians," al-Aqqad wrote. "It cannot be compared to the discovery of the wheel, fire, electricity, or the secrets of the atom, however great the influence of these discoveries."

The article emphasizes that understanding Hajj requires recognizing it as a testament to Ibrahim's successful navigation of life's major trials, earning him the status of a leader for humanity. The rituals, such as the circumambulation of the Kaaba, are seen as echoes of Ibrahim and Ismail's spiritual journey. The Kaaba itself is portrayed as more than a stone structure; it symbolizes a pivotal spiritual revolution, shifting human devotion from creation to Allah alone.
