High fire risk in Greece Tuesday, several regions on orange alert

Much of Greece is on high alert for wildfires on Tuesday, as the General Secretariat for Civil Protection forecasts a high risk of fire (category 3) across most regions. Several areas have been placed on an "orange" alert, signaling increased danger.

Authorities are issuing a strong recommendation for citizens to avoid any activities in the countryside that could inadvertently cause a fire. The use of machinery that can create sparks, such as circular saws and welding equipment, is also discouraged.
