During a review of the city's economic and social performance for the first seven months of the year, Được acknowledged positive growth in trade, services, tourism, industry, exports, and investment attraction. However, he highlighted significant pressure to meet a growth target of over 10% and a revenue goal of approximately 1 million billion VND. Public investment disbursement, a key economic indicator, had only reached about 43.2% by the end of July, falling short of expectations. Several projects are stalled due to issues with compensation, land clearance, and investment procedures, with the quality of initial investment planning sometimes lacking rigor.
