Ho Chi Minh City Health Department seeks 32 civil servants for specialized roles

Ho Chi Minh City's Department of Health is actively seeking to recruit 32 civil servants to fill positions across its specialized departments. The recruitment drive aims to bolster the city's health sector management by selecting qualified personnel in areas such as human resources, medical and pharmaceutical operations, administration, and information technology.

The department has an allocated quota of 257 positions, with 184 currently filled as of July 1. The additional 32 civil servants are needed to complete the management team and enhance the sector's capacity. The largest number of vacancies, 11 positions, are in the Organization and Personnel Department. Other departments seeking new staff include Medical Operations (6), Pharmaceutical Operations (3), Health Service Management (3), Office Administration (3), Child Protection and Social Support (3), Information Technology (2), and Planning and Finance (1).

Eligible candidates include current civil servants in state administrative agencies and officials working in public non-business units. Individuals who previously held civil servant positions and were later transferred to non-civil servant roles in other organizations are also encouraged to apply. Applicants must possess a bachelor's degree or higher relevant to the position, meet competency and quality standards, and hold a required public administration training certificate.

Applications will be accepted for 30 days from the announcement date, July 24. Interested individuals can submit their applications in person or via postal mail to the Organization and Personnel Department at the Department of Health's address. In related news, the department, following its merger with Binh Duong and Ba Ria-Vung Tau, currently has one director and six deputy directors.
