Holstein Kiel signs Dutch winger Gyan de Regt

Holstein Kiel has secured the signing of Dutch winger Gyan de Regt, bolstering their left flank. The 23-year-old joins the German second-division club from Dutch Eredivisie side Excelsior Rotterdam. De Regt has signed a contract that will keep him at Kiel until June 30, 2030.

Kiel's sporting director, Olaf Rebbe, expressed satisfaction with the acquisition, highlighting De Regt's strong training, versatility, and pace. The signing comes after the departure of Alexander Bernhardsson to VfL Wolfsburg. De Regt is expected to add a new dimension to Kiel's attacking options. The team has begun their new season with two draws and will face 1860 Munich in the DFB-Pokal on Saturday evening.
