Honda Super-ONE electric car sells out 2026 quota in one day in Indonesia

PT Honda Prospect Motor (HPM) has seen overwhelming demand for its new electric vehicle, the Honda Super-ONE, with all 100 units allocated for the Indonesian market in 2026 selling out on the first day orders opened on August 5, 2026. The company recorded 132 orders, surpassing its initial quota.

Yusak Billy, Sales & Marketing Director of PT Honda Prospect Motor, expressed appreciation for the strong consumer enthusiasm, noting that the high interest demonstrates the automotive community's value for the Super-ONE's performance, engineering, and distinctive Honda heritage. Despite not being intended as a high-volume model, the vehicle's reception highlights its appeal among enthusiasts.

The Jabodetabek region led the sales, accounting for 35% of the orders, followed by West Java with 23%. Among the color options, Luminous Gray Metallic proved most popular, chosen by 55% of buyers. Boost Violet Pearl garnered 30% of orders, while Crystal Black Pearl made up the remaining 15%.

The Honda Super-ONE is described as a compact electric vehicle embodying the 'Pocket Rocket' concept. It features advanced functions like BOOST Mode, Simulated 7-Speed Shift, and Virtual Engine Sound, and is equipped with Yokohama ADVAN Fleva tires. Inside, the cabin boasts a BOSE audio system and a Magic Seat configuration designed for enhanced space flexibility and passenger comfort.
