Honduras government subsidizes 50% of weekly fuel price hikes

The Honduran government is actively subsidizing fuel prices, covering half of the weekly increases and dedicating over 1.1 billion lempiras from the General Budget to this effort. Deputy Minister of Finance, Liliam Rivera, stated that this measure represents a fiscal sacrifice but is crucial for stabilizing fuel costs for citizens.
