Honourable Lady Visits Omani Women's Association in Salalah

Her Highness the Honourable Lady Assayida Ahd Abdullah Hamed Al Busaidi, Spouse of the Sultan of Oman, visited the Omani Women's Association in Salalah on Wednesday. The visit underscored her commitment to supporting Omani women's roles in national development and community initiatives.

Upon arrival, she was welcomed by local dignitaries, including the Governor of Dhofar and the Minister of Social Development. During her tour, the Honourable Lady explored the Heritage House, which showcased traditional crafts and handicrafts reflecting the rich folk heritage of the Dhofar Governorate. The exhibition highlighted efforts to preserve and economically develop these cultural assets.

The Honourable Lady also visited an exhibition hall where chairpersons of various Omani Women's Associations presented their achievements. These included voluntary work, community projects, and specific women's initiatives. She engaged with the ideas presented, noting the spirit of initiative and social responsibility demonstrated by the women of the governorate.

Concluding her visit, Her Highness inscribed a commemorative entry, expressing her appreciation for the associations' diverse programs and projects. She commended their focus on heritage preservation and their effective contributions to empowering women and serving society.
