House targeted in shooting in Montevideo's Maroñas neighborhood; getaway car found burned

A house in the Maroñas neighborhood of Montevideo was the target of a shooting attack on Wednesday evening. Around 7:00 PM, assailants fired numerous shots at a residence located at the intersection of Costanera Maestra Aurelia Viera and Punta de Soto. Investigators recovered 20 shell casings of 9mm caliber from the scene, indicating a significant amount of gunfire.
