Hue City Accelerates Infrastructure Projects for Economic Boost

Hue City is prioritizing the completion of large-scale infrastructure projects to stimulate economic growth and overcome development challenges. The city is actively working on initiatives designed to enhance connectivity and modernize its urban landscape.

Construction sites across the city are bustling with activity. Notably, the expansion of Nguyen Hoang Road in Kim Long ward is progressing rapidly, with residents actively participating in land handover processes. This project, a key priority for the local government, aims to improve traffic flow and urban integration. The project involves the widening of the road and the construction of a bridge, with a total investment of over 2,281 billion VND.

Another significant undertaking is the Thuan An estuary bridge, which will connect the national coastal road and facilitate the development of coastal urban areas in Hue. The project is progressing well, with land clearance and compensation efforts largely completed, ensuring the project stays on schedule for its expected completion in 2026.

Beyond these projects, Hue is also advancing other critical infrastructure developments. These include the extension of To Huu Road, connecting the city center to Phu Bai International Airport, and the expansion of the Cam Lo-La Son expressway. Furthermore, the VSIP Hue industrial park is undergoing rapid infrastructure development to attract investment, alongside the construction of the Kim Long Motor Huế automotive complex. These combined efforts are poised to create new economic opportunities and drive significant socio-economic progress for Hue City.
