Hue City's new Chairman Le Tri Thanh takes on additional Party leadership role

Le Tri Thanh, recently elected Chairman of the Hue City People's Committee, has taken on an additional significant role as Secretary of the City's Party Committee. This dual leadership position positions him to drive the city's development agenda, particularly concerning major infrastructure and industrial projects.

Following his appointment as Chairman, Thanh immediately began inspecting and directing progress on key projects. These include the VSIP Hue industrial park, Chan May port, the extension of To Huu Street to Phu Bai Airport, Ba Trieu Street, and Ring Road 3. He stressed that these projects are crucial for improving transportation and industrial park infrastructure, attracting investment, and boosting the city's overall competitiveness.

The city will continue to prioritize support for large-scale industrial production projects, projects that create new capacity, and projects within economic zones and industrial parks; at the same time, accelerate investment progress and complete infrastructure in industrial parks and clusters to attract secondary projects, especially high-tech, clean industry, and processing and manufacturing projects...

Thanh urged relevant departments and localities to promptly address difficulties and accelerate the progress of large-scale projects. He highlighted the city's commitment to supporting major industrial production projects, those that create new capacities, and initiatives within economic zones and industrial parks. The goal is to enhance infrastructure within these areas to attract secondary projects, especially those focused on high technology, clean industry, and manufacturing.

Project investors, contractors, and local authorities have been instructed by Thanh to enhance coordination in compensation, support, resettlement, and land clearance. They are also tasked with proactively resolving emerging issues and mobilizing maximum resources to speed up construction. Thanh demanded that all projects adhere to quality standards, ensure workplace safety, and protect the environment, aiming for completion on or ahead of schedule to maximize investment returns and contribute to Hue's socio-economic development.
