Hvidovre continues strong season start with win in Køge

Hvidovre has bounced back strongly this season after a disappointing end to the previous campaign, where they faltered in their bid for promotion to the Superliga. The team secured a decisive 2-0 victory on the road against HB Køge, propelling them to the top of the 1st Division standings. They now share the lead with Vejle, with both teams accumulating ten points from their first four matches.

Donavan Bagou, who was the top scorer in the 2nd Division for HIK last season, has continued his prolific scoring form for Hvidovre. He netted the crucial opening goal just minutes into the second half, demonstrating his continued ability to find the back of the net.
