HY Continues 48-Year Tradition of Supporting Army Division with 20 Million Won Donation

For 48 years, the South Korean company HY has maintained a close relationship with the Army's 25th Infantry Division, demonstrating a long-standing commitment to supporting the nation's defense.

On June 18, HY announced it had delivered 20 million won (approximately $14,500 USD) worth of gifts and funds to the division. The company's representatives visited the division's base in Yangju, Gyeonggi Province, on June 16 to make the delivery.

This annual tradition began in 1978 when HY and the 25th Infantry Division formed a sisterhood agreement. HY has consistently shown its appreciation for the soldiers by providing support each year. Last year, the company also donated 20 million won worth of supplies.

HY CEO Byung-gu expressed deep gratitude for the soldiers' dedication to national security. "HY cherishes its long-standing relationship with the 25th Division and will continue exchanges that empower the soldiers," he stated. The company plans to uphold this friendly relationship built on trust.
