Actor Azrel Ismail has voiced his disappointment after he and his team were allegedly asked to leave the KLFW x Suria KLCC fashion event. Ismail, 42, claims the incident occurred because event organizers were not properly informed about their presence to create social media content.

Ismail expressed that such an action would not have happened if the organizers had verified the information and purpose of their guests beforehand. "My team was asked to leave because one of the women there was not aware that we were there to create content. Please check and study properly who is coming and for what purpose before arbitrarily asking people to leave," he stated through a post on his Threads account.

He further added that his team had allocated their time to attend the event, making the experience particularly frustrating. "People aren't that eager to come and wait in the heat. There are many other things that could be done with their time," Ismail commented.

For the record, Kuala Lumpur Fashion Week (KLFW) 2026 is scheduled to take place from August 3 to 9, 2026, at the Esplanade, KLCC Park. Ismail mentioned that he wasn't particularly keen on attending the fashion show itself but was present due to a commitment with KLFW x Suria KLCC.
