I will make Osun safe for all - Oyebamiji tells Osun Muslims community

Bola Oyebamiji, the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate for Osun, has promised to transform the state into a safe haven for business and prosperity. Speaking at an interactive session with the Osun State Muslim community, Oyebamiji emphasized his commitment to the state's development.

My decision to contest for the governorship seat was deliberate and intentional, and as I said in different fora, we have put a team in place to look at the various sectors with a view to making immediate intervention, especially power generation, education, healthcare delivery and agriculture among others in a bid to push to start towards economic growth.

He revealed that a dedicated team is identifying key areas for intervention, including education, healthcare, power generation, agriculture, and workers' welfare. Oyebamiji stated that these sectors are crucial for driving the state's economy. He also pledged to ensure fair and equitable distribution of resources across all towns, contrasting this with the current administration.

Oyebamiji, a devout Muslim, expressed strong confidence in his electoral victory on August 15, 2026. He also committed to maintaining peace before, during, and after the election, assuring efforts for a free, fair, and credible poll.

I am a bona fide Muslim who has never missed anything with Islam, and I am confident in Him that I will come victorious come August 15th, 2026.

The President of the Osun State Muslim Community, Alhaji Mustapha Olawuyi, acknowledged Oyebamiji's contributions to Islam and humanity. While stating the organization's non-partisan stance, Olawuyi urged Oyebamiji to be just and equitable if elected, particularly regarding resource distribution and the recognition of Islamic law.

I must say that Oyebamiji is known to us as a good Muslim whose immense contributions to the propagation of Islam, Muslim Ummah and humanity can not be quantified. As I said earlier, we are not partisan as an Islamic body, and we are working assiduously for the progress of humanity in general and propagation of our faith.
