Iconic 'Devil Wears Prada 2' costumes auctioned for charity

Christie's and 20th Century Studios are presenting a unique online auction featuring a collection of iconic costumes and accessories from the upcoming film "The Devil Wears Prada 2." In a special collaboration with star Meryl Streep, the auction aims to raise funds for significant charitable causes.

The online auction will take place from September 1 to September 15, 2026. All proceeds generated will be donated to the Committee to Protect Journalists (CPJ), a New York-based organization dedicated to defending journalists globally, and the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA), which supports American fashion designers.

The collection boasts high-fashion pieces and luxury accessories worn on screen by the film's stars, including Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt, Stanley Tucci, Simone Ashley, and Lady Gaga. Notable items up for bid include a signed pair of Valentino Garavani red Rockstud pumps, famously worn by Streep's character Miranda Priestly, alongside a Dries Van Noten fringed coat and a Schiaparelli black-and-white jacket.

Further highlights include a Gabriela Hearst Niki dress worn by Anne Hathaway, an Elsa Peretti cuff donned by Emily Blunt, and a Bad Binch TongTong feathered maxi dress worn by Lady Gaga in her music video for "RUNWAY." The auction also features creations from renowned fashion houses such as Dolce & Gabbana, Dior, Elie Saab, Vhernier, and Fendi, as well as a classic J.Crew turquoise sweater.

From September 8 to 13, the "Devil Wears Prada 2" collection will be exhibited at Christie's in New York, offering a physical preview before the online bidding concludes on September 15. This event merges the worlds of fashion, film, and philanthropy, offering fans a chance to own a piece of cinematic history while supporting vital organizations.
