IDF finds, dismantles explosives hidden in West Bank school

The Jerusalem Post reports on the IDF's successful operation to uncover and dismantle an explosives cache hidden within a school in Beit Ummar, located in the West Bank. This discovery followed a terrorist attack two weeks earlier where explosives and Molotov cocktails were thrown at the Israeli settlement of Karmei Tzur. Fortunately, no one was injured in that initial attack.

The IDF discovered weapons and explosives in a West Bank school, which belonged to terrorists who attacked an Israeli settlement weeks ago, the IDF announced Monday.

Following the apprehension of the terrorists responsible, subsequent interrogations led the IDF to the school where the explosives were concealed. The IDF released video footage showing soldiers locating and then safely detonating the cache. Crucially, the operation caused no damage to the school itself.
