İETT Supports Film Festival in Istanbul

Istanbul's primary public transportation provider, İETT, is lending its support to the inaugural Çatalca Film Festival, aiming to enhance accessibility for residents and film enthusiasts. The festival, organized by the Çatalca Municipality, marks a significant cultural event for the district.

To facilitate attendance, İETT will operate special shuttle services connecting the Beylikdüzü Tüyap Metrobus Station directly to the festival grounds. This initiative ensures that Istanbul's citizens can easily reach the event, which will showcase notable figures from Turkey's film industry, including Hale Soygazi, İlyas Salman, Yüksel Aksu, and Dilan Deniz Çiçek.

Beyond transportation, İETT is also raising awareness for the festival. Information about the event will be displayed on select İETT buses operating on routes such as 336M (Arnavutköy – Mecidiyeköy), 22RE (Fatih Sultan Mehmet – Beşiktaş), and 76O (Avcılar Cihangir Mahallesi – Otogar), as well as on one metrobus vehicle. This outreach aims to inform a wider audience about the festival's offerings.

The Çatalca Film Festival is scheduled to take place on August 27th, 28th, and 29th. Importantly, the festival is open to all Istanbul residents free of charge, promoting cultural engagement across the city.
