Unlike last season, Slovenia arrives in Ningbo not as the outright favorite, but as a strong candidate for the semifinals and a serious contender for a medal. The team's journey to China involves significant logistical challenges, as outlined by team leader Alen Djordjevič in an interview with Delo.

Djordjevič described the arduous travel plan: "On Saturday at 6 a.m., we will depart from the hotel in Ljubljana towards Vienna by bus. At 1:30 p.m., we then have a direct flight to Xi'an, where..." The journey highlights the commitment and effort required for international competition.

The team's strong performance in the preliminary rounds has positioned them well for the final tournament. Their success in the Nations League demonstrates their capability and potential to challenge the top teams in the world.
