IMA Agro-Fairs: Find Out Where They Will Be Held This Wednesday

Panama's Institute of Agricultural Marketing (IMA) is continuing its initiative to make essential food items accessible and affordable through its "agro-fairs." On Wednesday, August 5, the institute announced new locations where the public can purchase key products from the basic food basket at reduced prices.

The agro-fairs will feature a variety of staple goods, including rice, beans, pasta, oil, salt, bread, sugar, grains, vegetables, eggs, tortillas, chicken, plantains, meats, apples, and assorted fruits. These events aim to provide relief to consumers by offering these necessities at lower costs.

Starting at 8:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 5, the agro-fairs will be held in several locations across the country. In Veraguas, residents can visit the Community House of La Raya in the Calobre district and the Community House of La Montañuela in the Atalaya district. Panama Oeste will host an event at the Local House of Faldares in La Trinidad, Capira district.

In Herrera, the fair will take place at Parque Herrera in the San Juan Bautista corregimiento, Chitré district. Chiriquí's event is scheduled for the Community Court of Cerro Viejo in the Tolé district. The Comarca Ngäbe Buglé will have an agro-fair in the community of Cerro Puerco, Müna district. Finally, in Panama Este, events will be held at the Villa Belén Park in the Tocumen corregimiento, Panama district, and in Chinina Abajo, Santa Cruz de Chinina corregimiento, Chepo district.
