Inadeh Campus Nears Completion, Boosting Panama's Technical Training

Panama City's new National Institute for Professional Training and Human Development (Inadeh) campus is more than halfway complete, with construction reaching 52% completion, according to a recent inspection by the Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF).

Economy and Finance Minister Felipe Chapman visited the site, touring various areas including welding, electricity, and refrigeration workshops, as well as the central warehouse. He expressed satisfaction with the project's progress, emphasizing that the work over the past two years is materializing an infrastructure designed to bolster the nation's technical training capabilities.

"The observed results are a testament to the sustained effort to bring this infrastructure to fruition, which will contribute to better preparing Panamanians to meet the demands of the labor market," Chapman stated. He highlighted the campus's strategic importance in modernizing technical education and equipping facilities to offer training in diverse specialties aligned with the needs of productive sectors and the job market.

Inadeh Director General Yajaira Pitti underscored the crucial role of inter-institutional coordination in the project's development. She affirmed that the commitment of the involved teams has been key to maintaining the construction's momentum. The new campus is part of broader initiatives to enhance technical education in Panama, ensuring graduates are well-prepared for current and future employment.
