Indonesia Explores Cassava Flour to Combat Forest Fires

Indonesia is exploring an unconventional approach to combat its persistent forest and land fires, turning to cassava flour as a potential solution. The National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN) is actively studying the feasibility of this method, with its head, Arif Satria, stating that it is "theoretically very possible."

BRIN has already initiated coordination with the Indonesian National Police (Polri) to prepare for the potential application of this technology. Satria indicated that the agency is awaiting further updates on the preparations and expressed hope for swift results.
