Indonesia Exports 32 Metric Tons of Batu Damar Resin to India

PT Perusahaan Perdagangan Indonesia (PPI) has successfully expanded its global market reach by exporting 32 metric tons of Batu Damar (Resin) to India, marking a significant achievement in promoting Indonesian natural resources. This export consignment, dispatched from Tanjung Priok Port, underscores the robust international demand and the superior quality of Indonesian Batu Damar, a valuable non-timber forest product. Ira Berlianty Aziz, Head of Corporate Secretariat and TJSL at PPI, emphasized that this successful shipment demonstrates the high market interest in the commodity. Batu Damar's versatility, with applications ranging from the food industry to cosmetics and other raw materials, positions it as a commodity with immense potential for further development.
