Indonesia's government is prioritizing national programs within the 2027 State Budget Draft (RAPBN), aiming to navigate global economic uncertainties while maintaining fiscal discipline. The Ministry of Finance confirmed that key initiatives will remain a focus, balancing the need for robust public spending with the imperative of fiscal health.

Director General of Budgeting at the Ministry of Finance, Sudarto, stated that global economic pressures are expected to continue impacting trade, supply chains, and international investment. Consequently, the formulation of the 2027 RAPBN is being approached with caution to ensure a balance between funding priority programs and maintaining fiscal stability. Sudarto highlighted the APBN's strategic role not only in allocation and distribution but also as a catalyst for growth through government programs and private sector empowerment.
