Indonesia's Ministry of Manpower Disburses 95% of Wage Subsidy Program

The Indonesian Ministry of Manpower (Kemnaker) has successfully disbursed 95% of its Wage Subsidy Assistance (BSU) program for 2025, reaching approximately 15 million recipients. The disbursed amount totals Rp 9.63 trillion out of a planned Rp 10.32 trillion.

Minister of Manpower Yassierli stated that the remaining 5% of funds were not disbursed primarily due to data discrepancies. The BSU program, intended as an economic stimulus, ran from June to July 2025.

Beyond the BSU, Kemnaker reported strong performance in other programs. The national apprenticeship program for prospective workers achieved a 102% realization rate against its target of 100,000 participants, with an allocated budget of over Rp 300 billion. Additionally, the Job Loss Guarantee (JKP) program, aimed at workers who have been laid off, has a total budget of Rp 1.2 trillion, benefiting over 17 million participants.

Overall, Kemnaker reported a 90.21% realization of its 2025 State Budget allocation, excluding the BSU program. Non-tax state revenue (PNBP) also exceeded its target, reaching Rp 2.24 trillion, or 144.8% of the Rp 1.54 trillion goal.
