Indonesian security minister Jenderal (Purn) Djamari Chaniago lauded the combined efforts of various agencies in intercepting a massive 1.3-ton shipment of ketamine. The successful operation, which involved the Navy, National Narcotics Agency (BNN), Customs, and Police, demonstrated robust collaboration against international criminal enterprises.

He emphasized that the achievement was a collective victory, underscoring the necessity of inter-agency synergy, information exchange, and enhanced detection and response capabilities.

Djamari stressed that dismantling smuggling networks is more critical than merely seizing contraband. This success proves Indonesia's capability to detect, intercept, and dismantle routes used by transnational criminal organizations. He sent a clear message to these networks: "Indonesia must not be a transit, storage, or distribution point for narcotics and other illegal goods."
