Indonesian Armed Forces conduct key leadership handover ceremony

A significant leadership transition ceremony took place at the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) headquarters in East Jakarta, presided over by Kasum TNI Letjen Richard Taruli Horja Tampubolon. The event marked the formal handover of command for two key positions: the Commandant of the Indonesian Armed Forces Command and Staff College (Dansesko TNI) and the Commander of the Joint Regional Defense Command II (Pangkogabwilhan II).

During the ceremony, Marsdya Arif Widianto officially relinquished his role as Dansesko TNI, passing the baton to Marsdya M Khairil Lubis. Subsequently, Marsdya M Khairil Lubis transferred the command of Pangkogabwilhan II to Marsda Muzafar. Muzafar's promotion to his new role will be accompanied by a star promotion, signifying his advancement to a three-star general.

In his address, Kasum TNI conveyed a message from Panglima TNI Jenderal Agus Subiyanto, highlighting that leadership regeneration is a crucial component of personnel and organizational development. This process ensures the continuity of service and maintains the TNI's readiness to confront the complexities of the global strategic landscape. The handover underscores the TNI's commitment to strengthening leadership and ensuring consistent dedication to the nation.
