Indonesian artist Hindia captivates 5,000 fans in Kuala Lumpur with '25 Experience'

Indonesian artist Hindia, also known as Baskara Putra, delivered a powerful "25 Experience" concert to an audience of 5,000 in Kuala Lumpur, transforming the stage into a space for unfiltered expression.

Opening with a symbolic metronome and a performance of "Perseverance (In The Face of Grief)," Hindia immediately set a tone of shared struggle and resilience. The concert's visual palette of black, white, and gray mirrored the "25 on Blank Canvas" album cover, suggesting a journey from darkness towards light, a departure from the gloom of his previous album, "Lagipula Hidup Akan Berakhir."

The setlist navigated a spectrum of emotions, from introspective tracks like "Hated In The Nation" and "Cincin" to darker themes explored in "Let Down" and "Janji Palsu." He highlighted the ongoing Aksi Kamisan protest, where parents advocate for justice, introducing this historical trauma to his Malaysian audience. The performance culminated with songs like "Kami Khawatir Kawam" and "YAAYO," juxtaposing the music with visuals of tragedy, an intentional artistic choice to provoke thought and emotion.
