Indonesian Classification Bureau Strengthens Maritime Safety with New Partnership

The Indonesian Classification Bureau (BKI) has taken a significant step to bolster maritime safety by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with PT Jasaraharja Putera. This agreement marks the beginning of a collaborative effort between the two companies to explore advancements in technical feasibility, education, and the exchange of expertise within the maritime sector.

The signing ceremony, held at BKI's headquarters in Jakarta, was attended by key executives from both organizations. R. Benny Susanto, President Director of BKI, was accompanied by Arief Budi Permana, Director of Business Classification Operations, and other management members. Representing PT Jasaraharja Putera were President Director Abdul Haris, Marketing Director Imam Hendrawan, and their management team.

President Director R. Benny Susanto emphasized that this collaboration underscores BKI's dedication to elevating safety, security, and compliance standards in the maritime industry. He stated, "This Memorandum of Understanding is an initial step. Our hope is that through this MoU, we can contribute to public and national safety in Indonesian shipping." The partnership is viewed as crucial for fostering a safer, more reliable, and sustainable maritime ecosystem.
