Indonesian Nazhir Association and Student Forum Strengthen Waqf Literacy Partnership

The Indonesian Nazhir Association (ANI) and the National Forum of Waqf and Zakat Management Students (FORNAS MAZAWA) have convened to bolster their collaborative efforts. This meeting serves as a follow-up to a previously signed Memorandum of Understanding, with a specific focus on elevating waqf literacy across Indonesia. Both organizations are committed to enhancing the management and effective utilization of waqf (endowment) assets, recognizing their significant potential for social and economic development.

The discussions centered on practical strategies to improve understanding and engagement with waqf. FORNAS MAZAWA, representing students in zakat and waqf management, brings a fresh perspective and a drive to innovate in the field. ANI, as an association of nazhirs (waqf administrators), provides experience and established frameworks for managing these assets. Their joint initiative aims to create a more robust ecosystem for waqf, ensuring its benefits reach wider communities.
