A key figure in Indonesia's parliament has lauded President Prabowo Subianto's recent state address, characterizing it as a clear roadmap for the nation's advancement. Putri Zulkifli Hasan, chair of the PAN Faction in the House of Representatives, praised the speech delivered during the annual joint session of the MPR, DPR, and DPD.

Hasan specifically highlighted the economic performance, noting a 5.61% growth in the first quarter of 2026 and 5.45% for the first half, the highest in 13 years. She also pointed to 121 "transformative policies" implemented in 21 months, stressing the need for diligent oversight to ensure their benefits reach the public.

The lawmaker also commended the focus on food self-sufficiency, viewing it as a cornerstone of national sovereignty. She acknowledged the President's praise for farmers, agricultural extension workers, local governments, and the military and police, calling it a "collective success." Hasan pledged the PAN Faction's continued support for robust food security, especially in light of El Niño threats. She also noted the government's initiatives for small communities, such as the "Kampung Nelayan Merah Putih" (Red White Fisherman Village) program.
