Indonesian SMEs Urged to Maximize ASEAN Market

Trade Minister Budi Santoso has called on Indonesian micro, small, and medium enterprises (UMKM) to actively pursue opportunities within the ASEAN market. He emphasized the importance of maximizing these prospects, particularly through the utilization of the Second Protocol to Amend the ASEAN Trade in Goods Agreement (ATIGA).

The minister's directive, as reported by Republika, highlights a strategic push to enhance the export capabilities of Indonesian businesses. By engaging more deeply with the ATIGA framework, UMKM are expected to find new avenues for growth and increased market access within the Southeast Asian region.
